Assisted Outpatient Treatment is a court-supervised program that provides outreach services, voluntary treatment, and housing support for qualifying adults who suffer from mental illness.

Families seeking AOT may not directly ask or petition the court for help, but may refer their loved ones to AOT by reaching out to the responsible county agency.
